| I am from Cape Town, South Africa and found a Model 618 (618-5349) at a second hand sale this week. It is still in its packing and has never been used. I would like to restore it for use on my farm located 200km from Cape Town. From the pictures I saw on the web page, the only part that I think I do not have, is the wind governor. Jaco Stemmet | ||

| Here is the"basket case" Wincharger 32v 1000w that I'm restoring. I've been lucky to get some replacement parts, to replace the broken pieces, from the people on this site. This unit took a hard fall before I bought it, breaking the tail casting, prop hub, and bending the air brake. | 12 volt removed from
Lofoten, Norway (left photo), being restored by Eigil Elisenberg, near
Oslo, Norway. Nice job so far, Eigil! (Lofoten is an ancient Viking fishing island 250 miles north of the Arctic Circle off the coast of Norway) |

| This is the place close to lake Mjøsa where Eigil grew up, and where he is planning to set up the Wincharger. (They had electric power there when he grew up). In the summertime they spend a lot of time at this place. | Closeup of slip ring brackets. Strange looking item on right picture. | |
| The six (6) pictures above were submitted by Eigil Elisnberg, from Oslo, Norway. CLICK HERE for a short write-up about the origin of this wincharger in Norway. | ||

Assembling a 6 volt generator. New brushes and bearings - rest cleaned
and painted. Note: I originally painted it red, then decided to go back to the original black. |
