I just finished a batch of 6' props using methods described in an earlier post.  I no longer have access to the Shopbot CNC router so I found a local business with the equipment and provided them with my programs and $75 an hour.  Here's the highlights of these ready to spin props:

Tight vertical grain (clear) Douglas Fir
Machined using 3D CNC router
Hand sanded
3 coats of a quality spar varnish (Epifanes clear gloss)
rough balanced (if needed)
8 mil copper leading edges w/monel staples
final balanced using reproduction Wincharger balance weights
predrilled for Wincharger 6V & and 12V but could be re-drilled for a Parris Dunn or Parmak

I have a couple not spoken for if interested-- $300 ea + $50 for shipping costs (4" tube, ins, fedex ground), lower 48 only.
