I'm at a stall on restoring my 1925 Aermotor windmill until the tower comes back from powder coating, and the water well driller shows up to put the well in.

So I started on restoring my Parris-Dunn wind charger.

Someone decided to push the shaft snuggly over a Aermotor mast. After decades of setting the two rusted together.

I broke a small pipe wrench and busted the base of the Aermotor mast getting it off. But I did it. I will need to clean up the edge of the pipe on the wind charger, but I can save it.

I also got the tail off the tail shaft. I happen to score the missing prop and generator off ebay last week. :-)

Mike, here is the generator I found on ebay. The prop that I bought with it hasn't been delivered yet.

Looks like a great project.  I believe this is the 3rd, 6V model that Parris-Dunn (including the early name, Dunn Corp) came out with.  It's circa 1937.  Below is a poor condition diagram of your model.

Wow! This will help big time! Thank you!

I see I'm missing some parts yet including the correct tower to mount my Parris-Dunn on.

My friend that will be rebuilding my generator had a question. I emailed it to you.

Thanks again!
